Knoxville, TN - Businessman Mark Padgett stepped up his campaign for City Mayor this week, announcing his campaign Web site and airing his first TV ad.

“My campaign is about more easily accessible government, and Votepadgett.com is a good example of how I will conduct the city’s business,” Padgett said. “It’s an accessible, user-friendly way to learn about me and what my values are.”

Padgett also launched a 30-second TV spot, airing tomorrow through the holiday season, featuring himself and his family, wife Katie, and daughter Kirby. 

“Katie and I felt like this season of faith and families was the best time of the year to introduce our family,” Mark said. “We would like to take this opportunity to wish the people of Knoxville a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.”
