EVENTS IN KNOXVILLE, MEMPHIS KICK OFF EARLY VOTE
Tennesseans are anxious to get to the ballot box and make changes
KNOXVILLE - U.S. Senate candidate Mike Padgett is kicking off early voting, which begins Friday, at a get-out-the-vote rally Thursday night in Knoxville and an early-vote barbecue Saturday in Memphis.
"People I have talked to across Tennessee are excited about making big changes in Washington, and they can't wait to get out there and vote for somebody who can send Senator Alexander home," Padgett said. "I am the guy to do that.
"I have connected with Tennesseans from the smallest counties to the biggest Metro areas, in all 95 counties, and a red plaid shirt is about all they can recall about their current U.S. senator.
"But Tennessee's hardworking men and women know I will come to them where they live and listen to their front-porch problems. And they know I'll work hard from Day One in Washington to deliver practical solutions.
"All I need from them is two things: their trust and their vote. With that, we can turn things around together."
William "Mike" Padgett is former Knox County Clerk and small business owner. He and Patty, his wife of 37 years, have three grown children, Matt, Mark and Sara Beth
